Two years since Article 370: A major success for the NDA?

  Two years after Indian parliament revoked the autonomous status of Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narender Modi’s government seems to have succeeded in bringing the region under its direct control.On 5 August 2019, a proposal to abolish Article 370 and 35A implemented in Kashmir was introduced by Home Minister Amit Shah in the Rajya Sabha. After which President Ram Nath Kovind also approved it after the resolution was passed in the Rajya Sabha. After getting approval from the President, Article 370 and 35A were abolished from Jammu and Kashmir. After this big decision of the central government, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were separated and divided into two separate union territories.   After the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said, 'Now our country can move forward on the path of peace and development.' The Centre has introduced the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2021, reviving the dispute on the distribution of the power between the elected government and Lieutenant Governor (LG). The issue, which was at the heart of ruling party AAP and frequent clash with the BJP led Centre during of its first term. The dispute was taken up by the Constitution bench of Supreme Court, which tilted the scales in the favor of the elected government through its 4 July 2018 verdict. The Bill has been criticized by the ruling Aam Aadmi  Party in Delhi as an attempt to curtail the power of the elected government. Taking to Twitter, Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal said the Bill, which '' seeks to drastically curtail powers of elected government '', is '' against the Supreme Court judgement.  A Vigorous political fight has already set the tone for an highly intensive competitive Assembly Election in West Bengal. The fight for power is between the ruling party Trinamool Congress, the challenger BJP, and the Congress, left front, ISF under the new umbrella of Sanjukta Morcha. The BJP's dramatic rise in the 2019,when its vote tally crossed 40%, only 3%less than a TMC vote percentage, winning 18 seats out of 42, made its ambition for power realistic, but also prompted drastic corrective measures by the Trinamool Congress, which has been in power since 2011. The BJP has been trying to overcome it's leadership shortfall by taking on leaders from other parties, primarily from the TMC. But it still can't match the ground game of Sanjukta Morcha.   IT Rules 2021    The Government on Thursday Announced some guidelines and rules to control and regulate the digital content. The Information Technology (Guidelines for Intermediaries and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021 also establishes some code of ethics to be followed by the Online Content Publishers, News websites, OTT platforms (Such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Disney+ Hotstar, etc.) and Social Media content Creators. The fuel Price in India hit the record high three figures for the first time in the history of India. On Wednesday the retail price of regular petrol hiked by 26 paise in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar and reached Rs. 100.13. While the Diesel rested at Rs. 92.13 after a hike of 27 paise. The fuel prices in India vary from state to state, City to City. It is determined after implementing state and central government taxes. So why are the prices rising like never before?  After effects of the infamous Pandemic:  Due to the then on-going Pandemic, the demand of Crude Oil (pre refined petroleum) showed a significant drop in April 2020.
